Alan started his music industry career as a successful recording musician, achieving chart success and touring extensively throughout Australia.

Alan's experience as a musician led to a Domestic A&R role at Warner Music Australia which expanded into a 16 year career with the Warner Music Group (WMG), holding senior management positions in A&R and marketing including 3 years working in SE Asia as the Marketing Director for Warner Music Malaysia and Singapore.

Moving on from WMG, Alan spent several years as Head of Marketing and Licensing with Mobile Active Pty Ltd, at that time Australia's leading mobile digital marketing company.

For the past eight years Alan has been a music industry consultant and operated his own artist management company working with artists such as Taxiride and Magic Dirt.
