Sex and Thugs and Rock n Roll is a rock & roll crime thriller, a murder mystery.
Billy Thorpe, a young blonde-and-blue-eyed singer from sleepy Brisbane, lands in the seedy Bohemia of Sydney’s Kings Cross in 1963. He joins a band, quickly finds fame and starts living a pop star fantasy — performing to thousands of screaming fans by night, sharing his bed with two beautiful girlfriends by day.
It’s a wild rock & roll ride, unreal, hilarious, until Billy inadvertently gets dragged into a dark underworld of 'The Cross', tangled up in a web of gangsters, pimps, bad cops, good cops and ultimately — murder.
